CASTING BREAKDOWN

SEEKING: Performers of all ethnicities, gender identities, and union affiliations to portray male- and female-identifying roles. Celebrity Cruises encourages gender diverse and color conscious casting. Performers of all ethnic and racial backgrounds, gender identities, and abilities are encouraged to apply.

THEATRICAL PRODUCTION DANCERS:

Seeking fit, athletic, and technically trained dancers with a strong background in jazz, ballet, contemporary, commercial, tap, partnering. Strong Acting skills required for all roles.

  • Male-Identifying Dancers:

    • Heights between 5’8 - 6’1 are preferred but not required

    • Must have a strong physique and capable of executing adage lifts

    • Gymnastics, arial training and tap are a plus

  • Female-Identifying Dancers:

    • Heights between 5’4 - 5’8 are preferred but not required

    • Must have lean silhouettes and able to perform in 3" heels to include turns, leaps, floor drops & partnering

    • Gymnastics, arial training and tap are a plus. 

EDEN DANCERS & DANCER-AERIALISTS:

  • Eden Male-Identifying Dancers:

    • Heights between 5’8 - 6’1 are preferred but not required

    • Strong Hoofing Tap is a must, think Nicolas Brothers, Greogry Hines, Savion Glover, Tap Dawgs, and Bring in ‘da Noise, Bring in ‘da Funk.

    • Must have a strong physique and capable of executing adage lifts.

    • Strong Acting abilities and delivery of script on microphone

  • Eden Female-Identifying Dancers:

    • Heights between 5’0 - 5’8 are preferred but not required

    • Must have lean silhouettes and able to perform in 3" heels to include turns, leaps, floor drops & partnering.

    • Gymnastics, arial training and tap are a plus.

      • Minnie - (Height specific - 5’0 - 5’3) portrayed by a Female-identifying dancer. Must have strong adagio partnering and acting skills. Aerial hoop and tap are a plus.

  • Eden Female-Identifying Dancer-Aerialists should have strong aerial skills (Silk, Lyra, Hammock), in addition to the above requirements.

    • Alice portrayed by a Female-identifying dancer-aerialist and is loosely inspired by Alice in Wonderland. Must excel in acting and delivery of script on microphone. Aerial silks experience is required

WHAT TO BRING: Please bring a current headshot and CV (even if you or your agent has previously submitted them)

DANCERS

  • Please wear appropriate form-fitting dance attire

  • Please bring tap shoes for an American-style, improv tap jam (or taught combination) and be prepared to be asked to tumble (acro) if you do so

  • Male-identifying roles must execute all choreography in dance sneakers or jazz shoes

  • Female-identifying roles must execute all choreography confidently in 3” heels
