The Bazaar is a multi-level, multi-sensory space on Celebrity Xcel that brings authentic destination experiences onboard. It invites guests to explore the sights, sounds, flavors, traditions and festivals without ever leaving the ship.

CASTING BREAKDOWN

Performers of all ethnicities, gender identities and union affiliations to portray male and female-identifying roles. Celebrity Cruises encourages gender diverse and color conscious casting.  

We are especially looking for performers who authentically reflect or hold deep understanding of either Caribbean or Mexican cultures, regardless of race. Performers should be of 1st or 2nd generation Caribbean or Mexican heritage. If not of direct heritage, must have a strong sense and understanding of the roots, rhythms and histories of these cultures. 

Hispanic Female-Identifying Vocalist:

  • Height between 5’5 - 5’10 with athletic silhouette preferred

  • Strong mix/belt up to F5

  • Confident Leading Lady and actor who moves well

  • Vocal styles to include – Selena | Celia Cruz | Destra | Rhianna


Caribbean Male-Identifying Vocalist:

  • Height between 5’10 - 6’2 with strong, athletic build preferred

  • Bari-tenor range up to B4 with strong falsetto extension

  • Confident Leading Man and strong actor who moves well

  • Vocal styles to include – Bob Marley | John King | Marc Anthony | Juan Gabriel

Bazaar Dancers

We are seeking fit, athletic, and technically trained dancers with a strong foundation in commercial, Caribbean, and Latin dance styles. Performers should be confident actors and storytellers, with the ability to carry narrative within an immersive environment.

Female-Identifying Dancers

  • Height range: 5’3 to 5’6, with an athletic silhouette preferred

  • Must be comfortable performing in 3" heels, including turns, jumps, floorwork, and partnering

  • Experience with gymnastics or tricking is a plus

Male-Identifying Dancers

  • Height range: 5’9 to 6’1, with a strong, athletic build preferred

  • Must be capable of executing supported lifts and partnering work

  • Experience with gymnastics or tricking is a plus

  • Experience with power skips (jumping stilts), or willingness to train, is preferred

REHEARSAL & CONTRACT DATES:

  • Arrive: 8/31/26

  • Rehearsals: 9/1/26 - 10/22/26

  • Contract Dates: 10/23/26 - 4/11/27

Please bring a current headshot and resume, even if previously submitted.

MALE-IDENTIFYING VOCALIST

Come prepared with one selection from Male Vocal Audition Packet 2 that best showcases your strengths.

In addition, please bring:

  • One Caribbean selection in the style of Bob Marley, with sheet music in your key

  • One Spanish-language selection in the style of Marc Anthony or Juan Gabriel, with sheet music in your key

  • A complete repertoire book, ready to present if requested

FEMALE-IDENTIFYING VOCALIST

Come prepared with one selection from Female Vocal Audition Packet 1 that best showcases your strengths.

In addition, please bring:

  • One Caribbean selection in the style of Rihanna, with sheet music in your key

  • One Spanish-language selection in the style of Selena or Celia Cruz, with sheet music in your key

  • A complete repertoire book, ready to present if requested

MOVEMENT CALLBACK

Vocalists invited to the movement call should arrive in form-fitting dancewear that allows for full range of movement.

  • Female-identifying vocalists: please bring 3-inch dance heels

  • Male-identifying vocalists: please bring character or jazz shoes

DANCERS

Please bring a current headshot and resume, even if previously submitted.

Arrive in appropriate, form-fitting dancewear.

Please be prepared to tumble (acro) if applicable.

  • Male-identifying roles must execute all choreography in dance sneakers or jazz shoes

  • Female-identifying roles must confidently execute all choreography in 3-inch heels
